Erich's blog

Sadly, today was the last day. During today we visited many different monuments like the Iwo Jima, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther king junior, Roosevelt memorial and  Korean and Vietnam memorials. The most interesting thing that we did today though was visiting the Arlington cemetery. It was very hot today but I didn't mind it. We walked up for about 20 minutes to the tomb of the unknown soldier. This constantly had guards guarding it. Luckily, we witnessed the changing of the guard. This was the changing of 2 guards that guarded the tomb. We had to remain standing and be completely silent during the changing. We also got to see the Kennedy's graves. This had 4 headstones one for john, his wife and 2 kids. This was very interesting to see. I am just sad that we are leaving tomorrow. Early wake up!
