Day 4

Today we first went to the Newseum. The Newseum is a museum of news. I really enjoyed walking through the Newseum, especially the Ron Burgandy exhibit. After we finished learning about the media in different places in the the world, we went to the Portrait Museum. Also, we had to say bye to our friends who came from all over canada to Washington with us. When we arrived at the museum, Mrs. Kiazer made us a fun scavanger hunt. We had to find many pictures all around the museum. When we finished looking at the beautiful paintings, we went to a gift shop where we could buy souvenirs from Washington. Next, we were supposed to head to a baseball game but sadly it was delayed. At least we were still able to make it in the end. While we were waiting for the baseball game to start, we went to the National Gallery of Art. We saw many interesting sculptures and paintings. When the baseball game was finally about to start, we drove towards the stadium. If you wanted, you could buy lunch there or you could eat the packed lunch. Luckily, the Washington team beat the Las Angales team. When the game finished we were taken back to the hotel and rested for an hour. After we rested, we went to the mall and ate dinner. When we finished eating, we were able to wander around the mall and buy materials that we needed. Finally, the day was over and we headed to the hotel. We were given a choice to go swimming or go to sleep after the mall. We stayed at the pool till it closed and fished the day. I really enjoyed this day especially the baseball game.
