Day 2

Today we went to the holocaust memorial museum. It showed me (Matthew Forman) and Jason Egelnick a new perspective of the holocaust and World War Two. We never were able to visualize such terror before this memorial museum. It made us angry and confused. It made us mad because of the millions of lives lost and how we can't do anything. It made us confused because it is hard to imagine someone being able to convince the public to be ok with these mass murders.

We now truely understand the importance of remembering the holocaust so it never happens again.

After looking through the museum we listened to a survivor of the holocaust. She told us that she never even knew what the outside world was, as she was in hiding with her mother, father and older brother. Eventually the Canadians came liberated all of the northern holland. By this time she was three this was her first time outside.

After all the sadness we watched play named shear madness. It was a dynamic play and cheered up the sadness after what we all just experienced today.
We are looking forwar to tomorrow!
